They are so pretty to look at and so unusual that I think it's great they are making a comeback. And no need for gutters! That's a bonus - gutters are ugly and they're always getting blocked. I miss seeing thatched roofs...Awwwwww kittens!! :D<br /><br />I miss seeing thatched roofs to be honest. There's a few here and there in France, but they're not common.
