I am familiar with Chef Blanc's through a couple of his television shows and would truly enjoy an opportunity to learn from him or his surrogate(s). The pistou soup sounds wonderful but, I must admit, the poached egg with tomato fondue is probably the dish I would make again and again. I love the combination of egg and tomato. Add a piece of crusty bread and I'm in heaven. Thanks, GD, for taking us along. Your photos are wonderful! This weekend I attended one of the WORST foodie demonstrations I have ever had the misfortune to attend. I was at the Foodie fair in Oxford on Sunday, and went to a demo by a bloke who called himself the Ham-Master. We thought it was to be a demo of how to prepare Spanish hams (Serrano, Iberico etc), followed by a tutored tasting - but it was so agonisingly bad that we left half-way through (followed by about 50% of the audience)!Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007920158148137373.post-79349634849533096922012-08-27T19:18:53.941+01:002012-08-27T19:18:53.941+01:00Beautiful setting, fabulous produce, and stunning ...Beautiful setting, fabulous produce, and stunning dishes.
